This is where it gets messy. I did the same stupid thing - Only I'm the female. One night stand turned into something more. I was stupid and ignored red flags about him not wanting committment, he was stupid and finally agreed to it to please me. one and a half year half-ass relationship with bad communication on both our parts and me being frustrated constantly. About a week ago on a Wednesday, I went to trivia night downtown like I always do. To no surprise, Sara and her friends were there, including Rob. I didn’t speak to any of them but we all knew each other were there as we always do. So Friday morning that same week, I wake up to a message from Rob on bumble, continuing our conversation from like 2 months ago. It's nice to be understanding but if doing so requires you to give up expecting to be treated with respect, like the loving & concerned adult that you are, then I'd say your understanding is doing no one any good. And what are you getting in return: you're being nicer and more accommodating than anyone has a right to expect from another person, and your repayment is to be called upon as a computer repairman?
