On that note, have you looked at all the studies that show a plurality of women are more attracted to the "dark triad" of negative characteristics in men? I think that it's always a good idea to be upfront and honest when calling it off with someone. It doesn't need to be a long, drawn out conversation (although it can turn into that..) but it's best to explain why you want to end it and do so in an amicable fashion. It's much more useful, for me at least, to know why a woman wants to break up. Ya I'm actually going to stop what I'm doing. He makes more than I do and can't even order a pizza?! He could say he would do that but he doesn't want to! I think a lot of older people who are divorced, widowed, never-married, prefer to live alone, as it is not all bad living alone. In addition, the internet is a great companion.
